Hulladek is a youth-centric organisation. Most of our employees are less than 35 years in age, brewing with ideas that are off-beat, fresh, new and promising. Since a majority of our team members were born into a world with the internet, they have truly experienced the benefits and cons that technology brings in its tow – and are determined to do something about it. We are a women-led organization, with most of our department heads being dynamic and powerful female leaders.

I am really proud to be working in a team where women are leading individual departments, over-achieving goals and keeping the spirits high! The career opportunities at Hulladek Recycling are huge – what began as an internship for me has now manifested into a role where I lead a part of the company. I devoted my initial years with Hulladek to understand its value proposition through the various roles bestowed upon me, such as Business development and Client Servicing. In 2019, I started heading the channel partner division with a goal to expand the company’s operations across the country.
I aspire to lead by example, and motivate my ever-expanding team with the desire to achieve and grow.
From an executive to a department head – my journey at Hulladek Recycling has truly been a fruitful experience.
I started working here as an E-Waste Management Advisor in the Business Development team. We had to build awareness about the importance of E-Waste Management. Within 2 years I was leading a team of 6-8 members as a Sourcing Officer with the same goal. Today, I head a team of highly-driven individuals, where we analyse market opportunities and capitalize on prospective leads to maximize e-waste collection. A target-based managerial role, such as mine, is extremely exciting to work on, for it hones my cross-functional capabilities. Working with a company like Hulladek Recycling, which is headed with a team of 5 women who have collectively achieved a growth rate of 483% is a truly empowering experience, and I look forward to my office hours everyday.
Getting a head-start to lead an HR team so early in my career is like a dream come true. What I like the most about working at a young, dynamic company such as Hulladek Recycling is that they’re always welcoming new ideas and ways of working. I was given the liberty to initiate and restructure existing HR policies, and bring about changes that I thought would uplift the work culture. The company values are progressive and people-oriented – one where we empower our team members by supporting individual growth. My responsibilities span across talent acquisition and payroll management to employee engagement and administrative duties. In today’s times, most companies have an average employee life cycle of less than 3 years. Hulladek has been far surpassing that, year after year, and this fact itself speaks volumes about the work-life balance that the company provides.
My journey with Hulladek Recycling, ever since i first joined in mid-2016, has been eventful and exciting, to say the least. From being a Waste Management Advisor to transitioning into a Logistics Executive, to now working as the COO – I have experienced exponential growth, both career-wise, as well as in terms of the projects I have been fortunate enough to work on. Young minds coming in with the intention to learn and prosper is the USP of Hulladek which I truly appreciate. They say that firsts are always very special. Hulladek is the first company I have worked with and it has indeed been a cherishable experience.
Hulladek started its operations on an internship model, providing freshers with an insight into corporate work culture while working at a startup. That’s how my journey here began too. The company has always believed in empowering its people through the propagation of opportunities and knowledge, with this being just one small example, out of the many that I’ve witnessed first-hand.
Coming to my journey here, when I first joined, I was a waste management adviser. My morale was boosted when I won the title of “The Kick Starter” by breaking the set record of the highest collection made by an employee during their first month. Soon after, I was promoted as a Team Lead for the Business Development department, following which, my role was one where my targets were defined by revenue. I’ve always been interesting in Marketing and Strategy, and when the team here noticed my flair for the subject, I was given the chance to handle PR initiatives. Today, I am the Chief Marketing Officer, a role which involves both strategic as well as executory acumen – something which was made possible only because of the plethora of learning opportunities that the company provided me with.
