Companies having CSR responsibilities can donate their e-waste to Hulladek Recycling. Donating and recycling your e-waste with us is tax-deductable, and can be adjusted in one’s CSR targets.

1. What are the various e-waste products that we collect for recycling?
Hulladek Recycling collects electronical and electrical appliances that are obsolete, damaged
or have reached the end of their product life cycle for recycling and management. To view a

2. Where do we collect the e-waste from?
Hulladek works on a B2B and B2C model. We collect e-waste from educational institutions,
hotels, hospitals, NGOs, business entities and corporates. We also collect e-waste from
individuals and provide door to door collection services. You may alternatively, depose your
e-waste at your nearest collection point. 


3. How to raise a pickup request?

4. Is there a minimum quantity for pick-up?
There is no minimum quantity required to schedule a pickup. In case, where the e-waste
materials to be collected are very few, we combine the collection on the basis of the
geographical area. For example, if there are five calls from area X to recycle 5 kg of e-waste
each, we schedule all these pickups on a particular day to optimize our efforts.


5. What is the turnaround time for pickup? By when can I expect to have my e-waste
collected?
Once a pickup request is raised, Hulladek Recycling ensures that its logistic partners collect
your e-waste within five business days.


6. How can I be sure that my e-waste is recycled?
At the end of the recycling process, we provide a certificate of recycling to our clients to
validate the recycling process.


7. What to do if my pickup is delayed?
Timeliness in pick up is our utmost priority. However, in case your pickup is delayed due to
an unforeseen circumstance, you can call us on our toll free number or write to us on
support@hulladek.re for assistance.

1. What is EPR and its applicability?

Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) is a Government-mandated obligation, where
producers of notified equipment (their consumables or components or parts or spares)
as enlisted under Schedule 1 of E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2016 are responsible for
adopting environmental-friendly waste management practices to ensure its safe
disposal, after the said products have reached its end-of-life.
These rules are applicable to every producer, consumer or bulk consumer, collection centre,
dismantler and recycler of e-waste involved in the manufacture, sale, purchase and
processing of electrical and electronic equipment or components specified in schedule – I of
these Rules.

2. In how many days can I expect to receive my EPR Authorization?
You can expect to receive your EPR Authorization within 60 days of submitting your
application documents and is valid for a period for 5 years.


3. How to get/apply EPR Authorization?

4. As a dealer of electronics, do I need to apply for EPR authorization?
Yes, there are two options to fulfill your EPR obligations. You can either become an
authorized collection centre for an EPR Authorized brand owner, producer or can apply for
EPR Authorization under your own name.


5. Is there any EPR application fees? What are the charges?
Yes, there is a fee towards making of EPR application.

1. Who can be a Franchise partner?
To be a franchise partner of Hulladek Recycling, you should have:
(a) Warehouse/ Storage Space (minimum 500 sq. ft.)
(b) Location preferably easily accessible and well-established connectivity
(c) Manpower: preferable a minimum of 3 (can include the franchisee operator)

2. How can we setup a green Centre?
To be eligible to set up a green centre, the interested organization should have:
a. A space for establishment, ranging from 100-300 sq. ft.
b. One security guard or caretaker to handle the bin.

3. What is the investment required?
To be a Franchise partner, the initial investment ranges between Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 5,00,000
including the franchise fee and the complete set up.


4. Can I operate multiple green centers?
Yes. A franchisee partner can operate multiple green centers in a particular state.

5. What is the Business model?
Franchise business model consists of three revenue streams- Trading, services and support.
A franchise partner, can earn profits on pre-defined rate contracts with us by making trading
margins. They can also provide services such a logistics, warehousing and inspection
of materials. Support in terms of marketing, brand awareness and research can also be a
revenue stream.
